To whom it may concern,
It has come to my attention that end-users of databases are not usually knowledgeable concerning the ability to extract information out of their database(s). The MySql database if probably the most commonly utilized database for website support. The end-users must absorb the learning curve associated with SQL statements and must be familiar with the overall database design in order to extract their data.
I would like to bring to your attention a new application specifically designed and developed to resolve these issues. The application's name is Aditway . This application is not limited to MySql. It also supports MS SQL Server 2000/2005 and also IBM's DB2 databases. Additional databases will be added as demand requires.
Aditway is currently in Beta test and will be available for purchase once the Beta test is complete.
With Aditway, the end-user is provided the ability to extract their data from the desired database without any technical knowledge. The end-users do not need to know SQL in order to get their data. All extracted data will created in a XLS spreadsheet in the end-user defined location.
For MySql databases that reside along side their respective websites, "Remote Access" is required.
I would like to point out some of the highlights of Aditway :
* User independence from IT.
* No additional software to install.
* Immediate Return On Investment. (ROI)
* Read-Only access of database. (SOX compliant)
* Utilizes existing database server security definitions.
* Reverse engineers databases.
* Platform independent. (Windows, Linux, MAC ...) (Only Windows install available for the demo.)
* User can install application without IT.
* One tool to access all supported databases.
I would like to point out some of the advantages of Aditway over other available applications:
* Eliminate on-going IT involvement.
* Eliminates users need to know files/fields.
* Supports all native and custom data types.
* Users share definitions. (Backup/Restore)
* Automatically derives database table relationships.
* Determines most efficient extract methods.
* Predefine commonly grouped fields. (Field Lists)
* Define nicknames, independent and temp fields.
* Ability to define complex internal calculations.
* Ability to copy inquiry definitions.
I would like to point out some of the benefits of Aditway over other available applications:
* Expect an immediate ROI.
* Runs on most platforms. (Only Windows install available for the demo.)
* No additional software to install.
* One tool for many server types.
* One time effort may require technical expertise. (Although tools are provided.)
* Users are independent of IT.
* Reduces IT demand, resulting in additional savings and increased productivity.
* Reverse engineers databases.
* Drag-n-drop capability reduces user effort.
* Supports full/partial backup and restore capabilities of Aditway definitions.
* Allows users to refer to fields with a “Nickname” definition. (Output file contains Nickname as header.)
* Allows complex “What If” scenarios using “Built” fields (Internal dynamically defined).
* Allows complex inclusion/exclusion definition criteria using "Test" fields.
* Allows dynamic field values with “Independent” fields.
* Create copies of images contained in the database along with links.
* Creates commonly used XLS format for output files.
A functional demo is available NOW! The demo limits the sampling of data to ten rows and does not allow the creation of the XLS output file. The install file is approx. 24mb and the finished install is approx. 33mb.
If interested in testing this application , including the demo version as a free download for your customers and/or additional information, please contact me at aditware@gmail.com
Looking forward to hearing from you,
