Well to begin with, the results of this election have great significance on the relationship between the UK and the US.

Secondly the American president has huge influence in the UN and other countries globally.

And thirdly, yes, I do want to know what's going on in America because i'm a damn Brit and proud!

In some ways yes bDub but in 4 years time (1 term of Presidency) I'll be 19 and therefore my life will most certainly have been affected by that time.

Besides politics is interesting :P.

...and from my vast experience I have found that, I am usually happiest when my guy loses. Why?

Whoever is in office, generally mucks it up. If it is my guy -- well, all I can say is "Oops!".

If it is the other guy, I can say "Told ya so.".
