1. Mis-conduct of WSN staff upon F-s.net website.

Recently there have been numerous occasions whereby WSN so called "staff" members have been actively participating in the surveillance of F-s, in effect spying on progress, and spending time around the chatroom defacing F-s services and detracting potential clients.

Threats from members of staff at WSN have also become frequent:



"And thanks for banning me. You wil be pleased to know a DDoS attack maybe?"



As well as the above said, so called "staff" members have also attempted to acquire team positions at F-s. F-s has received applications such as:



"Hey James,
Okay, I know I am a staff member at WSNW but I am going to try.
I am disliking being a staff member at WSNW and was wondering if you have any staff positions available
I can easily resign at WSNW if need be, but only if I may have a staff position here."


To name a few examples - "Kooky", "Marshton".

F-s does not appreciate these intentions, and the discontent in their staff team is their problem and we do not wish to interfere. In the events of former WebsitesNetwork staff members joining our team, it has been strictly enforced that resignation was required before application was sent.

2. Apparent similarities of the new WSN design.

Current WSN "staff" members may or may not be aware of the new WSN design that is still in creation. F-s feels that the design strongly resembles and imitates features seen in our unique web design. Our copyright footer state:



"The copyright includes all graphics, banners, icons and content language displayed on this website.
We will find and act against all parties who were found using our site elements, this includes imitating our ideas or materials."


Please note, failure to notice this warning will result in serious implications and F-s does not take lightly to imitation of our unique design.

It is evident of the similar aspects that WSN's new web-design to that of ours; the sky cloud being the most prominent.



3. Warning.

Please be aware that as said earlier F-s will not accept the above actions. Please rectify these problems and note that as a rival company F-s expects both parties of staff to be equally respectful.

Yes WSN is imitating us with that design. It's pretty pathetic really, they don't realize that their current design is an excellent design. I may seek advice, the clouds idea is definitely strong grounds.

As for the antics by some of their childish "staff", it's totally comical because they wanted a staff position here. :D

Some interesting discussion going on above, (from our funny man source) they now want to blame everything on me :D... Now what have I done? Natural jealousy is understandable, however websitesnetwork seriously needs to learn to wake up and look around.

Twinkie's comment has to be the joke of the year. Websitesnetwork was my creation and all latter management are still feeding off what I built up over there. Pretty much a pity really. They are digging a bigger hole as we speak. We invite no confrontation, but they are bringing it in on themselves now. :rolleyes:

These amateur children are no worth anymore attention to be honest, but there they are - look at them, Alfren, John, Kooky, Twinkie, Marshton - all members I helped and supported with sweat during my time there, now they pay me back with this.

Their team members' conduct is totally disgraceful. They come to our site and cause strange fuss, now they are talking about us in their back yard. Arguments and comments which are totally unfounded and ridiculous! I feel sorry for their new owner who has to put up with staff members who are so disorganized, amateurish and disloyal. I do not think he even realizes how some of his staff have been passing on information, applying for positions etc. I think it's only natural for him to trust and think like those twits! My opinion, he needs to get rid of his whole team and find a new set of staff.

They are young teenagers, what do you expect? Their "so called" team is comprised of kids who do not have any knowledge about web hosting whatsoever. Therefore their great success :D As far as I can see they are still just about surviving, time will show.

This kid kooky makes me laugh...

Note how he clearly states he "dislikes being a staff member at WSNW"... We told him numerous times that we cannot consider his staff application because he's a member of staff at WSNW! He kept bugging us! Then he decided to go the other route. Kept saying how he will leave if it is secured a position, what a joke - cannot respect procedures...

It got to the point where we had to ban him from our site. He did not have a website with us in anycase. So, then he goes and rants in his cell. :D Back to the very group of team which he was completely disloyal to. Then the next day after this thread was first posted:

I apologise for my action at F-S during these few days. I have understood now that I cannot be a staff member and my actions have had an effect on potential clients of FreeSpace. I will no longer enter the FreeSpace chatrooms. In return I ask you take down the thread regarding WSNW off the F-S community forums.

Just to set the situation straight here a bit. I've made it clear to the staff at WSNW that under no circumstances they are to abuse or threaten anyone on FS.

As of now, Kooky is no longer a staff member at WSNW.

My intention is not to make this game nasty - James, you did a good job with WSNW - I've taken over now and would like to continue the good work that you have done. Best of luck with FS.

The free hosting space is certainly large enough for all of us. Lets keep it clean.

Well, unfortunately, due to the many server upgrade and maintenance, many people are just quite sick of it and left.

The servers were already in bad shape, that's why James left in the first place. Some people followed him.

Though now that everything is relatively stable, there should be more users coming in. Don't worry about it.

This kind of unfounded, comical accusations by your staff is just ridiculous. Is this your only way possible to try to assure your members? By lies? People who do not know what they they are talking about should not be blabbing their imaginary thoughts. Servers were already in bad shape? It was in excellent shape with near 100 percent uptime record.

It is funny how these young teenagers (who are making this accusation about their servers being in bad shape because of me), have no experience as server admins whatsoever nor have they ever logged into the server during my time there.

Don't blame others for the your own failures in dealing with the abusers of your service!

I am a new member here at F-S and all I have to say is that the site is exceptional. Whatever WSN wants to say about you guys, they can say it all they want. As I always say "Actions speak louder than words". With the comments and other things being openly talked about on their (assuming here) web hosting community, it looks damn unprofessional. Just friendly honest and open criticism here though: Why are you guys even entertaining them by talking about them here on the forums? It's the same mistake they did. This kind of tit for tat over forums looks unprofessional. I'd suggest deleting this thread or making it only viewable by the F-S team and just making a simple post warning F-S users of WSN and what they might do. Of course I understand you wanted to just release your frustrations James, we all need to sometimes, I'm just saying there are better avenues than openly for all your users to see. I don't mean to be rude or mean in any way. It's just constructive criticism to consider. I absolutely love the community here and hope one day to become a team member once I get good enough at admin-ing my own site.

Definitely not, the load time on the page is also atrocious. Load up their forums and you'll be their for 5 seconds every time you navigate around.

From a source, I have obtained some screenshots of WSN staff making suggestions and directly referring to free-space.net in the process.

They are all from the websitesnetwork staff forums and the posts are made by staff members at the time of post.





Marshton, a staff at the time makes the initial suggestion of taking our design into theirs.



In this post, we see that they have analyzed and studied our design and setup very carefully. Above is Twinkie's post.

I have tried using WSNW before and they really have bad service. They never sent me a comfirmation email at all and I checked back at their site like two weeks ago, I was like woaw, the background seems strangely familiar...

I had a website on there throughout the winter... then I lost everything because I was out of town when the server was hastly wiped clean. I had a good number of people starting to gain interest in my guitar playing community... I re-signed up when I got back, only to notice the server as unstable as it had always been... I tried to have faith, but it seems the site is gone for good now. Now i'm here, and so far everything seems quite stable. :)

Hi,

I was at WSNW when James was running things, it's a nice surprise to find him here!!!! WSNW was a great site, the staff gave loads of time and the forums were busy. Now - they seem to have gone under. Logins don't work, the cPanel subscription expired, the forums are unavailable and the servers are long term down.

To see something that vibrant disappear doesn't make me happy, but every cloud ;-) has a silver lining and this place seems even better than WSNW was.
